Jeanne Peach-Barker passed away on May 21 2007, peacefully but gracefully in her sleep. Jeanne, age 75, Founder of Braeside Theatre School, Strines, Nr Marple. She was the dear wife of the late Ray Peach, Dennis Barker Q.C. and Don Johnson. A much loved Mum of Sarah and Belinda, a loving Nanna of Sebastian and Amelia.

Let's just take a moment, if you don't mind, and just sort of center ourselves after being out and busy. Take a breath, feel the floor under your feet...
And we recognize that, though there is one presence and one power, there are six billion people on the planet that represent that fragmented One. And that somehow, there seems to be a mission or goal in this life to bring all the pieces back together again. So, each of us, today, is here to do our own work in bringing our little piece in to the whole and to gain some understanding about the way the puzzle looks today. So we open our hearts and minds to this time of discovery together, not the final word, not the absolute word by any means but just one hour and a half or so of perspective on a great great great big issue. So we open ourselves up to this exploration of Islam and the world today.
